About The Position
HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is searching for a Full-Time Experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our practice at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida. EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT 30,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year 14-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track including 2 dedicated trauma rooms Multi-million-dollar expansion starting in early spring 2026 adding 11 additional bays, 2 behavioral health safe rooms, dedicated physician workspace 20% admission rate 24 hours of physician coverage 24 hours of APP coverage Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers
Requirements
- Must be Board Certified thru National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- At least 12 months of current or recent ED or Urgent Care experience preferred
