About The Position

Lee's Summit Medical Center is seeking an emergency medicine advanced practice provider for their Level III Trauma Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Requirements

• Board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) via ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA.
• Minimum of one (1) year of emergency medicine experience.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Ability to obtain Missouri licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care in a Level III Trauma Center.
• Participate in 60 hours of physician coverage per day.
• Participate in 60 hours of APP coverage per day.
• Work 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage daily.
• Manage a high volume of patient visits, with over 24,000 annual patient visits.
