About The Position

As a per diem Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) working night shifts, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in various settings, including ambulances, hospitals, and at the scene of emergencies.

Requirements

• Valid EMT certification and state licensure.
• Current CPR and BLS certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry patients.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and situations.
• Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate medical care and assistance.
• Administer first aid and basic life support (BLS) as needed.
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency personnel.
• Maintain and check medical equipment to ensure readiness.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to keep skills current.
