About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Valid Ambulance Drivers Certificate
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • California K4 Motor Vehicle Report
  • Current California EMT-B certification
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • EMT: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting
  • Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment
  • Administer medications and perform advanced life support procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate patient care records and complete required documentation
  • Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
