About The Position
Emergency Medical Technician Location: Burbank, CA, 91504 Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 3 days a week Shifts: Shift 1: $23/hour 9am-7pm, Shift 2: $25/hour 8pm-6am Company Overview: West Coast Ambulance is one of the leading ambulance companies in Los Angeles County with a mission to provide unparalleled medical transportation services to the communities we serve by ensuring safety, efficiency, and rigorous industry standards. Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Valid California driver’s license
- Valid Ambulance Drivers Certificate
- Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- California K4 Motor Vehicle Report
- Current California EMT-B certification
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the US
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

- EMT: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment
- Administer medications and perform advanced life support procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient care records and complete required documentation
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
