About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team and provide high-quality medical care to our patients. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, assessing patients' conditions, and providing necessary medical treatment. You will work closely with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your role will be critical in saving lives and providing essential medical care to those in need.

Requirements

• Valid CT EMT-Basic certification
• Valid CPR certification
• FEMA 100, 200, 700, 800
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic and coachable
• 1 year of active experience working or volunteering as an EMT
• Skills in patient care, medical operations, and infection control
• Ability to think quickly and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Documentation skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in patient care and medical operations
• Documentation knowledge
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours
• CEVO/EVOC certificate 
• 2 years of active experience working or volunteering as an EMT
