About The Position

The EMT Security Officer is a dual‑role position responsible for providing
licensed emergency medical care while also performing protective security
services. This role is typically assigned to industrial, manufacturing, or other
high‑risk sites.

The EMT position administers first aid treatment at our client sites, arranges
for transport of sick or injured persons to a medical facility, and works as a
member of the emergency medical team.  They help maintain a safe and secure
environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises checking for
irregularities and inspecting emergency equipment. They preserve order
while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to
personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our EMT Officers will also provide
customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

• Active West Virginia EMT License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to meet access control and site clearance requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and patrol‑based security inspections of the site
• Monitor surveillance systems and control site access
• Respond as the first medical responder to on‑site emergencies, injuries, and hazardous material incidents
• Provide emergency medical treatment in accordance with EMT scope of practice
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
