Tallahassee State College is excited to announce an opening for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Healthcare Professions Division. As Adjunct Faculty the day-to-day responsibilities will include: Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development. Applicants must be able to work in all clinical settings of the program. We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Requirements

  • Possess three or more years of experience in a specialty area such as ER, ICU, OB, and/or must possess a minimum of an associate’s degree and be certified as a Florida Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, a paramedic or licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the certifying agency.
  • Have at least three years of recent experience in the area where they provide clinical instruction or Florida licensure as a Paramedic to teach paramedic courses and as an Emergency Medical Technician to teach in the EMT program.
  • Successfully complete health screening, drug screening and clinical affiliated required background checks.
