Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and / or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.

  • Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.
  • Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience preferred.
  • EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic Certification required upon hire and maintain active.
  • BCLS on hire and maintain current.
  • Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience preferred.

  • The current compensation range for this role is $25.70 to $25.70.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
