The Adult Crisis Center Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides direct medical and programmatic care to clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This role works with clients during the admission process to determine continued eligibility and develop goal-directed plans of care for minor medical concerns. The EMT participates in healthcare education and provides direct oversight to personnel delivering medical care within the crisis center. As part of an interdisciplinary team, this position focuses on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat, and stabilize individuals experiencing behavioral health needs.
