Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our urgent care team. The EMT will assist providers and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment for our patients.
Requirements
- Active EMT certification in California
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
Nice To Haves
- Urgent care or emergency department experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment
- Assist providers with procedures, wound care, and splinting
- Perform EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as directed
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment
- Support front office tasks when needed, including patient intake
- Ensure proper documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Follow clinic protocols for infection control and patient safety
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients
