About The Position

Provide support treatment, care and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport. Arrive to the scene of an emergency, determines the situation, and develops a plan of action. Use appropriate medical equipment and comprehends the severity of the injury. Monitor patient condition and performs data collection. Communicate findings and patient condition to primary Registered Nurse (RN). Assist with the mobilization, ambulation and transport of patients. Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drivers License preferred.
