About The Position

Georgetown Community Hospital is seeking an EMT for Emergency Services on a PRN (as needed) basis during night shifts. The hospital is an acute care facility with 75 beds, providing a wide range of services including inpatient, outpatient, intensive care, surgical, emergency, and diagnostic services. The EMT will respond to emergency calls and provide patient care as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Graduate of a program of discipline as evidenced by current license or certification required.
• Current EMT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Complete Handle with Care training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for emergency medical services.
• Provide patient care as directed and/or determined necessary.
