About The Position
Kickstart Your Career with UPMC's Paid EMT Training Program! Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career in emergency medical services? Whether you're exploring a new career path or are a recent high school graduate, UPMC has an incredible opportunity for you! In collaboration with a Pennsylvania Department of Health-accredited EMT program, we offer a 16-week paid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training program. A one-year work commitment to UPMC Susquehanna Regional Emergency Medical Services is required. Program Highlights: Paid Training: Earn $18.12 per hour while you learn. Start Date: Classes begin in August 2025 and run through December 2025. Career Advancement: Transition into a full-time EMT role with an increased hourly rate of $18.49 upon successful completion of the program and certification. Sign-On Bonus: Full-time EMTs are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment.
