This position involves performing protective service work by providing emergency medical services to both emergency and non-emergency E-911 calls. The work is conducted under the close supervision of the Paramedic Shift Supervisors. This is a full-time role that requires working 12-hour rotating shifts and attending all continuing education classes mandated by the Onslow County-Camp Lejeune EMS System. Additionally, the position requires attendance at an in-person, one-week Academy held Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1700, followed by the completion of a Field Training Program after the Academy. Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a skills assessment and an interview for the position.
