About The Position

If you are actively enrolled in an EMT program, you can begin working as an EMR with us here at LIFEwest Ambulance as operational support. Once you have completed your EMT program and passed your NREMT, we administratively move you into an EMT position. Services provided at LIFEwest include: Critical Care Transport (CCT), 911 Emergency Response, Medical Standby, and Interfacility Transport. LIFEwest Ambulance is the official EMS provider for Sonoma Raceway. As a LIFEwest employee, you are provided multiple opportunities to work events at Sonoma Raceway such as: NASCAR, NHRA, Sonoma Drift, and NASA! Requirements

• Actively enrolled in an EMT program
• CPR certified

Responsibilities

• Operational support - cleaning ambulances, restocking supplies on ambulance
• Wheelchair transports
• Standby events at Sonoma Raceway
• Ride-a-longs for BLS transports
