About The Position
The Emergency Manager for the City of Kodiak is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and administering comprehensive emergency management programs across all Kodiak communities. This role involves disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation, as well as interdepartmental and interagency coordination. The Emergency Manager will also provide complex staff assistance and is required to perform emergency duties during natural or human-caused disasters as directed by the Emergency Services Director.
