With our wide range of experience, we provide valuable expertise in critical areas of consulting and acquisition operations. The SME I supports curriculum and training evaluations by conducting foundational reviews of course materials and assisting in the assessment of agency-sponsored training programs. This role contributes to ensuring training accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with program objectives. THIS ROLE IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in emergency management, training, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with FEMA or DHS training environments
- Basic understanding of NIMS or emergency response frameworks
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing instructional materials including lesson plans, student guides, and visual content
- Support evaluation of course content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Document findings and provide structured feedback to senior SMEs and project leadership
- Participate in onsite and virtual course reviews
- Assist in instructor audit preparation and documentation
