The Emergency Management Specialist participates in designing, developing, and maintaining Emergency Preparedness plans, processes, standards, and programs. Incumbents manage the tools to support key operational programs to effectively support emergency response efforts across the organization including internal and external facing websites and software applications and are responsible for providing emergency training exercises and drills to internal coworkers in various departments involved in emergency planning and business continuity. Responsibilities also include the coordination of preparedness activities with internal and external partners to support an effective readiness posture to identified hazards and ensuring assigned employee groups perform effectively in emergency situations and operate the transmission or distribution grid in a reliable manner. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the North region of the PG&E Service Territory PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
