About The Position

The Emergency Management Intern at Cadmus will support a portfolio of projects with FEMA, focusing on enhancing disaster response and recovery efforts. This 10-week paid internship, starting in June 2025, will involve analytical tasks, policy analysis, and stakeholder coordination, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to national preparedness and resilience initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate degree program
  • Interest in policy analysis, development, assessment, and evaluation
  • Interest in qualitative and quantitative analysis across emergency management topics
  • Interest in client and stakeholder outreach, engagement, and communications
  • Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Initiative and ability to self-direct on assignments
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Support analytical tasks as part of an integrated client delivery team
  • Provide policy analysis, research, and communications support on homeland security and emergency management-related topics
  • Develop concise, clear, and easily-consumable written deliverables
  • Support coordination with stakeholders
