About The Position
King County's Office of Emergency Management is looking for an Emergency Management Program Specialist or Coordinator - Public Education and Outreach professional to join our team. Position is responsible for working on projects and programs involving inter-agency, inter-jurisdictional, and multi-disciplinary coordination in King County. Be a key player in the planning and development for present and future services. Role involves daily interaction with senior-level management, elected officials, and multiple intergovernmental partners. Requires a self-starter who is interpersonally and politically savvy, can work on multiple projects, and is a great problem solver. Strong communication skills are essential.
