About The Position
The Emergency Services Coordinator position will be designated on call periods to serve as the primary point of contact for state level coordination of emergency services resources. The selected candidate will be responsible to maintain professional working relationships with personnel at all levels within the organization as well as across State government. The Emergency Services Coordinator works with the emergency services resources on coordination of missions requested for response and maintains situational awareness throughout the completion of the mission. The Emergency Services Coordinator serves as an Emergency Services Coordinator for the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) activations and coordinates emergency service requests for resources as needed during disaster operations.
