About The Position

The Emergency Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to various posts at client sites. This role ensures compliance with post orders, completion of established rounds, and filing of required reports. The supervisor will notify the proper authorities and clients in emergency situations, coach and discipline personnel, and train Security Officers. The position requires excellent verbal communication skills, as the supervisor will interact directly with top executives. The supervisor will also assist in payroll submissions, ensure adequate coverage of posts, and prepare various reports as needed.

Requirements

• Recent military experience with a focus on Military Police, Dispatching, Cybersecurity, etc.
• Law Enforcement, Corrections Officer, or 911 Operator experience.
• Four-year college degree in an applicable field.
• Strong work history with relevant experience in a high-paced, technology-intensive role.
• Ability to work a flexible or rotating schedule.
• Professional appearance.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other personnel at client sites.
• Ensure compliance with post orders and completion of established rounds.
• Notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate.
• Train Security Officers and review post orders with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports.
• Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, training, and performance appraisals.
• Perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
