About The Position
ED Technician (ED Tech) serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse. The ED Tech performs nursing care skills that have been delegated by the licensed nurse. She/he plays an integral role in the patient care experience and both directly and indirectly impacts the perception of care. The ED Tech reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Passing grade on pre-employment tests.
- Paramedic EMT-Paramedic or EMT-Intermediate certification required in the State of Ohio
- CPR certification
