About The Position

The Emergency Department Technician (EDT) assists with patient care based on
individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision
of the registered nurse. The EDT provides supportive care to the Emergency
Department patients and performs approved procedures per policy. The EDT assists
patients with activities of daily living and assists with the maintenance of a
safe and clean environment.
