About The Position
The Emergency Department at The Richland Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to orient to the Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) position. We currently have Full-time position available. These positions primarily consist of 12-hour shifts (0900-2100) with an every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
Requirements
- Current CPR certification required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with providers, staff, patients, and families
- Proficient in PC skills and knowledge of medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Assist with medical procedures and basic patient care
- Perform clerical functions to support the unit
- Provide exceptional support to the healthcare team
- Interact with providers, staff, patients, and family members effectively
