About The Position
The Emergency Department Technician I reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Department Technician I performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes. Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA)
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire.
- Thereafter, must maintain Current Basic Life Support (BLS), either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
