About The Position

The Emergency Department Technician I reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Department Technician I performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Must maintain Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-skilled activities to support patient care.
• Assist Registered Nurses in providing care to patients.
• Maintain a patient-centered approach in all activities.
