About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Emergency Department Technician to add to our Emergency Department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity with 12-hour shifts. It will be a 36 hour per week commitment. The Emergency Department Technician will be responsible for: Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living; Maintaining a safe environment; Collecting lab specimens; Intake and Output monitoring; Electronic medical record documentation; Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required
• Less than 1 year Transport Medicine Setting Experience Required
• Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Required or Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required

• Associate's Degree
