About The Position

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Work Shift: Days/Afternoons (United States of America) Shift: Fulltime, 11:00am-11:00pm and 1:00pm-1:00am, Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday Primary Function/General Purpose of Position Assist the staff by performing clerical and patient care duties under the direction of an RN. Maintain and update patient records in a timely , orderly manner. Acknowledge and greet customers upon arrival to unit and demonstrate enthusiastic friendly approach. Essential Job Functions Performs delegated direct patient care activities under the direction of a registered nurse. Reports conditions of patients including changes or abnormal findings to Primary Nurse, Charge Nurse, or Provider. Provides nursing care in a non-judgmental manner that respects patient diversity and acknowledges patient rights and identifies resources to meet patient needs. Acts as a patient advocate . Correctly and efficiently completes, documents, and communicates physician orders and care provided. Correctly utilizes computer systems and serves as a unit resource. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, core measures, infection prevention, and patient quality initiatives to achieve optimal clinical and organizational outcomes. Maintains a well-organized, appropriately stocked, and clean work environment and provides an environment that is conducive to workflow.
