About The Position
The Emergency Department Technician II position at UM Capital Region Health involves assisting in the care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse and/or physician. The role includes performing triage, registration, basic lab tests, EKGs, and related routine, non-professional nursing care. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CNA certification. The technician will provide safe, effective, timely, and efficient patient care, document patient information accurately, manage supplies and equipment, and participate in quality improvement activities. Customer service and communication with patients and colleagues are essential components of this role.
