About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a flexi/PRN Emergency Department Tech (ED Tech) to work on an as needed basis. As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) with Sentara, you will assist the Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or Nurse in implementing plans of care for emergency/minor emergency care patients. Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire OR Successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School, qualified MMAC candidates OR Current student enrolled in clinical program (e.g., RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy) having completed at least one semester within the program.
