About The Position

As a Clinical Pharmacist at Medical City Arlington, you will be responsible for maximizing the resources of the hospital and making significant contributions to the public's perception of the hospital. You will perform all services related to patient care/treatment with consideration for the age and condition of the patient, serving a diverse patient population from infants to geriatric adults. Your role will involve proactive organization, effective resource management, and clear communication. You will establish and maintain long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Meditech, and purchasing vendor applications is required, along with a strong understanding of organizational policies and procedures. Knowledge of medication indications, contraindications, common side effects, and safe medication practices is essential. You will also be authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas as necessary.

Requirements

  • B.S. of PharD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Current Licensure issued by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS or PALS certificate preferred.
  • 1 Year of hospital experience preferred.
  • Completion of all hospital-specific competencies for Clinical Pharmacist.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations requirements.
  • Experience in a full-service hospital environment.
