Requirements
- Experience or training in healthcare office setting and customer relations.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires ability to work cooperatively with other employees, other departments and the public.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines is required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and concentrate in a busy environment is required.
- Ability to use common computer system and business software is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Answer the telephone's main line after hours, create temporary registrations for patients and accurately input charges into the software.
- Perform the daily census check, prepare patient charts with all required clinical and consent forms.
- Facilitate discharges and transfers in and out of GVH by arranging transportation, preparing medical records and communicating with other facilities.
