Emergency Department Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
This is for a Part Time Nights LPN position in the Emergency Department. Unit Highlights Welcome to MedStar Franklin Square, a Magnet designated hospital. MedStar Franklin Square Emergency Department is a 62 bed department, with 18 flex beds, and a 9 bed Stroke Response Unit. MedStar Franklin Square is also a STEMI receiving and A Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Emergency Department see's approximately 70,000 patients a year and serves a diverse patient population. 1-year acute care experience preferred. Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and have a Maryland or compact state License Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Must have at least 1 year of Emergency Department LPN experience. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. This position has a hiring range of USD $23.33 - USD $34.39 /Hr.
Requirements
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and have a Maryland or compact state License Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Must have at least 1 year of Emergency Department LPN experience.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Active MD LPN License or Active Compact State LPN license and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
Nice To Haves
- 1-year acute care experience preferred.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
