Requirements

• Current LNA licensure in the State of NH or CMA, or EMT
• Current BLS

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of patient care and unit supplies as deemed appropriate by unit manager
• Provides basic, age-appropriate nursing care and treatments for patients to meet psychosocial and physical needs as outlined in the ED Technician department
• Takes vital signs
• Assists with activities of daily living
• Handles equipment as necessary
• Notifies a RN or Paramedic of any abnormal findings or concerns
• Provides explanation to patient and family prior to administering care to patient and answers questions
