Emerald's Server (Part-Time)

About the position

The position involves providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. Responsibilities include delivering prompt and accurate food and beverage services, utilizing a point of sale system, monitoring tables to assess guests' needs, and maintaining cleanliness of designated areas. Team members are expected to participate in maintaining a smooth operation with all staff and adhere to regulatory and company policies. The role requires performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
• Deliver prompt and accurate food and beverage services to guests' satisfaction.
• Utilize the point of sale ticket system to prepare beverage drink orders.
• Monitor tables to assess guests' needs and respond to requests.
• Restock and clean assigned station at the end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas as directed.
• Participate as a team member with all staff in maintaining a smooth operation.
• Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
• Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform other job-related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to accurately calculate figures and perform mathematical functions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Asian Cuisine.
• Ability to qualify for any required licenses or permits.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
• Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
