About The Position

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess and maintain a State of Florida Emergency Medical Technician license, a State of Florida Paramedic license, or a State of Florida Registered Nurse license and three years of experience in the medical field. A Bachelor s degree in nursing may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis. Must obtain and maintain certifications as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) and EMD Quality Assurance (EMD-Q), through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED), within the one-year probationary period.
