The MC is the Voice and the Heartbeat of the Hangout. They are in the spotlight and interacting with guests on a daily basis.

• Experience On A Microphone And Good Mic Technique
• Exhibits Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Thinking Quickly On Their Feet
• Delivers Excellent Customer Service Able To Set Up Basic Audio & Lighting At Events Able To Connect With & Motivate Young Kids
• Not Afraid To Engage Adults At Events
• Not Afraid To Tackle New/Difficult Situations
• Ability To Operate In Highly Stressful Situations
• Ability To Operate An IPad/Tablet
• Enjoys Dancing And Encouraging Others To Dance

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with all genres of music
• Ability to learn any important contextual information appropriate to the organization.
• Prior experience in cruise ship entertainment

Responsibilities

• The MC will be responsible for doing at least 4 "sets" a night but could go upwards of 8 per day depending on start time.
• They should have the ability to read a crowd, know their audience and communicate with the Music Specialist and Party Motivators to keep the flow of the set going.
• MC’s will work with the bands and sound engineer on a daily basis and coordinate with management and staff to create the ultimate dining experience.
• They need to have great communication skills and will meet with Hangout managers regularly to take care of special situations and events as they come up.
