Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional embroidery experience in a commercial/shop setting.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of tensioning, hooping techniques for various apparel (hats, polos, jackets), and thread types.
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to catch small defects and ensure every piece matches the approved sample.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digitizing software (Wilcom, Pulse, etc.).
  • Knowledge of heat press application, DTF or screen printing.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate multi-head industrial embroidery machines (e.g., SWF, Tajima, Barudan, or Melco).
  • Job Prep: Select proper hoops, stabilizers (backing), and thread colors based on garment type and design requirements.
  • Quality Control: Monitor stitching for thread breaks, birdnesting, or alignment issues; perform "trim and fold" finishing as needed.
  • Maintenance: Perform basic machine maintenance, including oiling and needle changes.
  • Production Goals: Maintain a steady pace to meet daily deadlines in a busy shop environment.
