The embroidery machine operator's responsibilities includes setting up embroidery machines, selecting pertinent tools and materials, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring that all projects are completed to work order specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as an embroidery machine operator or similar preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
• The ability to read and understand instructional manuals
• Excellent administrative abilities and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands specifications and customer orders
• Reads a ruler in 1/8" of an inch
• Hoops products in order for design to be properly run on machine
• Threads embroidery machine properly to the specified look
• Stands 8 to 10 hours per day in order to watch and re-thread machines
