About The Position

Transfer trays of eggs through Embrex machine. Restack basket into hatchers. Retrieve egg flats from Embrex machine and return empty egg flats in appropriate storage. Must be able to reach six (6) feet high with both hands. Clean machines, following established guidelines and keep hallway clean using pressure hoses and foam. Must be able to operate mechanical equipment.. Must be able to handle broken eggs and dispose of properly. All safety procedures are to be followed at all times. Must be able to work with other Embrex team members. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor. Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days. Must be able to work flexible hours. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a cold, hot, wet, and humid environment. Must observe all required hygiene and safety procedures at all times. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Job requires bending, lifting, twisting, and turning. Work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Must have worked 6 months out of the last 12. If an applicant meets Tyson’s minimum requirements for consideration of 6 months employment out of the last 12, they may be contacted for an interview.
