We are looking for a SW Design engineer for Software integration and verification testing. This position requires engineers who have experience in design & development and testing, but it is important to note that this job does not include any design or development work. It is purely focused on device testing. The role involves understanding the design developed in C language for micro-controller based on Non-RTOS and RTOS environments for a highly safety-critical handheld medical device. Additionally, the engineer will need to understand the GUI design developed in C++ language for the same type of device. Responsibilities include performing requirement analysis, identifying gaps, and determining test scenarios/combinations based on input documents such as requirements and design documents. The engineer will also identify relevant test hardware equipment for system testing, develop software integration test plans and protocols against design input documents and code, and execute them as per the defined process for medical device software development. Furthermore, the role involves performing software code regression analysis in C and C++, with knowledge of custom hardware design to plan for integration testing, and actively participating in requirements, design, and code review meetings.
