About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Embedded System Radio Frequency (RF) Intern to join our team! In this role you will be under close supervision of a degreed professional, and complete routine support assignments. Your assignments are designed to develop a working knowledge of practices and procedures related to embedded systems and RF technology.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Enrolled in Engineering at an accredited college or university and completed at least one year of study
• Organized and self-motivated
• Able to work in a team environment
• Completed at least two years of an undergraduate curriculum and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)

Nice To Haves

• Have a working knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals
• Familiarity with C++, Python, or Matlab
• Experience FPGA programming languages, e.g. VHDL/Verilog, and software, e.g. Vivado

Responsibilities

• Support degreed professionals
• Programming, debugging, and/or analyzing field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and RF system on a chip (SoC)
• Working with RF transceivers and microwave circuits
• Integrating embedded systems to run in real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environments
• Developing custom test interfaces and systems
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
