Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in either embedded systems development or embedded systems testing, and project management.
Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers).

Nice To Haves

PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience in regulated industries (automotive, medical devices, aerospace).
Knowledge of secure boot, firmware update mechanisms, and hardware-software co-design.
Experience managing geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables for embedded software initiatives.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Drive execution across firmware, driver, and low-level software teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with hardware, systems, validation, and manufacturing teams to align software development with overall product timelines.
Facilitate communication between engineers, internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Technical Well versed in C/C++ Understand and guide technical decisions related to RTOS, device drivers, bootloaders, and hardware abstraction layers.
Risk & Quality Management Identify and mitigate risks related to hardware dependencies, timing constraints, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and safety standards Stakeholder Engagement Provide regular updates to engineering leadership, product management, and external partners.
Manage expectations and ensure alignment with customer and business requirements.
