About The Position

Embedded Software Engineer job in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with Moseley Technical Services, a top Aerospace and Defense company. In this job you will drive product vision and ensure embedded software solutions meet customer and business goals. As an Embedded Software Engineer within the Land and Air Systems division, you will be a member of a cross functional team focused in system design and analysis of software components for complex GPS and Navigation systems

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of job-related experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Product Owner role, preferably with embedded software
  • Strong understanding of SAFe principles and practices
  • Proficiency in C, C++ and C#
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Experience with embedded systems and software development

Nice To Haves

  • SAFe certification or relevant training.
  • Domain experience in RF and GPS and Navigation system development, implementation and integrations efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, software modeling, analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and priorities.
  • Create and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
  • Participate in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the product.
  • Monitor progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality software.
