Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking Software Engineers whose primary duties will include designing and testing the latest broadcast and signal processing equipment incorporating the most advanced technology. Additional Duties: Responsible for the design of embedded software to be used in the company's products. Create, support and debug software and firmware. Adapt existing products for new requirements and uses. Create and maintain documentation of the design, analysis and test results. Provide architectural design, modular code design, code documentation, HW/FW integration, production implementation and support. Responsible for adding new features or otherwise modify firmware/software based on management direction and customer feedback. Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures.

  • Design and test broadcast and signal processing equipment.
  • Design embedded software for company products.
  • Create, support, and debug software and firmware.
  • Adapt existing products for new requirements and uses.
  • Create and maintain documentation of design, analysis, and test results.
  • Provide architectural design and modular code design.
  • Document code and support HW/FW integration.
  • Implement production support.
  • Add new features or modify firmware/software based on management direction and customer feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess a degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the field.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • C, C++ programming and debugging skills.
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems, Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, and Device Drivers.
  • Object-oriented design knowledge with programming techniques and data structures.
  • Knowledge of digital hardware (SoC, ARM Cortex-A and Cortex-M, FPGA).
  • Experience with device control interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet.
  • Ability to perform board level troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Data Communication Network and associated Layer 2 and 3 protocols.
