The Electrical Engineer (hardware & software) will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of test equipment software and embedded systems hardware and related firmware/software. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable integration between hardware and software components, as well as continuous performance optimization and post-production support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in embedded systems design and development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, C#, .NET, microcontroller architecture, and real-time operating systems (RTOS), WinUI and or Win API.
  • Programming experience with I2C, CAN, TCP/IP and Modus485 communication protocols
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skill

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement new embedded systems hardware and associated firmware/software.
  • Design, develop, and implement new test systems hardware and associated firmware/software.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to existing AC PDUs (power distribution units) hardware and its corresponding test program (C language)
  • Analyze test data, monitor test performance, enhance product and test system performance, efficiency (AC to AC), and scalability.
  • Provide post-production support, including debugging, maintenance, and system upgrades.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, installation guides, debugging procedures, and other system-related information, while ensuring proper version control.
  • Contribute to the creation and protection of intellectual property (IP) assets arising from design and development activities.
  • Additional responsibilities per management’s direction.
