About The Position

CACI is seeking an Embedded Software Development Intern for Summer 2026 in our Florham Park, NJ location! The internship will begin in May and last 12 weeks. This position will be hybrid with the expectation you will be in-person at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities: Work as part of a team of engineers developing complex electronics systems ranging from spectrum surveillance to communications This position is for individuals interested in a broad area of computer engineering and software development The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials, experience working in a team environment, and well developed interpersonal skills Important attributes include an inquisitive nature and strong desire to learn real world applications to complement your academic experience Familiarity with software development tools should be on par with your academic level

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Must be a Rising Junior/Senior in a bachelor’s program or a graduate student
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to meet normal demands associated with an office environment
  • Ability to work on computer in office or lab environment for long periods of time
  • Ability to communicate with others by telephone, email, and especially face to face

Nice To Haves

  • Computer architecture experience
  • Embedded Software development experience
  • Signal processing experience
  • Digital, Analog, or RF circuit design and lab experience
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred, but not required
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience
  • Teamwork and leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Professional/community/extracurricular activities
