Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to architect and deliver software solutions that enable testing, validation, and optimization of next-generation hardware systems for the Customer Terminals. This role sits at the critical intersection of hardware integration, embedded systems development, and production-scale software engineering—directly contributing to technology that will reach millions of customers worldwide. As an Embedded Software Engineer on our team, you will design and implement embedded solutions for new hardware features, working closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. Your code will directly influence the real-world performance of systems deployed in customer homes. If you're passionate about seeing your embedded software come to life in physical products and want to shape the performance of hardware at scale, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish solving problems that haven’t been solved at scale before. Along the way, you’ll learn from world-class engineers, build systems that scale globally, and see your work ship directly into the hands of customers.
