As an Embedded People Engineer, you'll be uniquely positioned at the intersection of engineering and people operations, working directly within our People Team to transform high-touch, manual workflows into scalable, automated solutions. This is a mission-critical role that combines deep technical expertise with intimate understanding of end to end people operations challenges, enabling you to build tooling that directly impacts all Palantirians across the globe. In this role you’ll have the unique opportunity to directly influence and scale internal people operations for our customers (Palantirians), who are working alongside the world's most critical institutions. By building on Palantir’s powerful platforms, leveraging integrated cutting-edge AI, you’ll help Palantir unlock the full potential to make smarter, faster decisions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
  • Hands-on experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance operations
  • Interest and curiosity in bringing technical solutions to the people space

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to collaborate in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, and comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects to scale systems and processes from ideation to deployment

Responsibilities

  • Design and build custom applications, integrations, and workflows that eliminate manual processes
  • Wrangling data and using AI to accelerate and enhance critical operations
  • Shaping team strategy and driving projects from ideation to deployment, increasing your pain threshold to deliver real value
  • Develop embedded relationships, building alongside user-groups and key stakeholders
